How to get from the airport to Madrid?
The bus that will take you from the airport to the core of Madrid is-EXPRESS AEROPUERTO. The departure point of this service can be found in the T4 (ARRIVALS) and has stops in T2, T1 (ARRIVALS), Plaza de Cibeles and Estación de Atocha (which functions between 06:00-23:30 h). During daytime, the estimated waiting time is of 15-20 minutes, during the night it is 35 minutes. The price of a ticket is 5 euros. Paying with cash in the bus itself is allowed. 2,50€ -multi card- personal card, which you have to reload with the a single ticket (it has to be used the same day of purchase), 10 journey ticket (combinado), airport (extra charge of 3€) or tourist ticket.
For families its recommended to buy the 10 journey ticket (combinado) as its more affordable.
